Callaway Tour issue question...
B*gJim13 said: So I was looking around on 3balls golf and came across a Cally FT-5 with a whiteboard in it. They have it listed as tour issue, with a clock ferrule?, tour shaft band and no serial #. My first question is, what the heck is a clock ferrule? And my second question is with no serial # how do they know its Tour issue? I don't think I could hit it since its 8.5* and has an 83g x stiff shaft but I am thinking of giving it a shot...you know, just to be sure :killersmiley:

More times than not, guys want a more open face and without a hosel to bend, this accomodates it. Tour heads don't have serials because they have no warranty. No reason to track them if you plan on trying to return it, cuz you can't. R35

Basically, its $120 shipped, I would think I would be able to get that back. I loved the look of the FT-5 head, I had 2 10.5* and I honestly think I should have given a 9.5* head a try-I hit both of them HIGH.
R*ckford35 said: No real difference over the retail model. That shaft will be big tho, 83g and X flex is a heavy combo. The Whiteboard in 73X is excellent in Cally heads, from experience. The FT-5 launches a little truer to loft than the FT-i because it's a little lower spin. R35

R35 It should be noted that the FT-9 Tour Authentic is LOTS different than the retail. But yeah I don't think there was much diff in the FT-5.http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/upload...88-6_thumb.jpg
